Your "Cingle" Source For Engineering & Information Technology Services!
Mission Statement: To be a premier provider of Engineering & Information Technology Services & Solutions.

Our Story

CingleNET was established in September 1998 as a small operation to provide homes and businesses in the Huntsville and Madison, Alabama area with superb computer networking services. From structural wiring for phone and Internet needs, to LAN and custom networking, CingleNET set out to be a premier provider of network and telecommunication system services as a "Cingle Source" provider for customer needs.

Starting that Fall of 1998 with only 1 employee (the owner) and one law firm client who entrusted its network needs to CingleNET, the company steadily grew over the years as word spread of the integrity of the company and quality of services provided. By 2004, CingleNET had gained over two dozen customers in thiry-seven locations in north Alabama and southern Tennessee. The company dropped residential service in 2004 so it could more clearly focus its market niche and did so by expanding from one Commercial business unit to four total business units to now include Federal Government, Local and State Government, and Web Hosting/e-commerce services.

In June 2006, CingleNET expanded to the point where more office space was necessary to accommodate the growing customer base which now included the City of Madison, CingleNET's first municiple customer, which drove up Internet bandwidth demand for our Remote Data Backup service and the need for a much more robust and secure Network Operations Center. To meet customer demands and to provide a more secure and suitable environment for CingleNET network operations equipment (and CingleNET employees which was now at three full-time), CingleNET moved from its first small office near county line road in Madison, to its new home in the "heart of Madison" at 97 Hughes Road, Suite M, in the Madison Markets suites just adjacent from Madison City Hall.

In June-July 2010, CingleNET continued to grow its commercial base which required the addition of a fourth full-time employee to its payroll. CingleNET is now servicing over 35 commercial entities, 2 state and local entities, and obtained the Naval Sea Systems Command SeaPort-e contract to provide network and system services to the Navy, Marine Corp, and other government agencies as required by Task Orders awarded.

If you happen to find yourself in Madison, AL, stop in and visit us if you are just getting started with your own business or if you already have a thriving small business and let us continue our mission for you, "To be a premier provider of Information Technology and Engineering Services" and "Your Cingle Source" for all of your network and system needs!
